5bucksayard.com started in 2005. It's almost 2 years of learning, making new friends and realizing how much work it is to run your own business. Eileen has taken a break and is concentrating on her full-time job and family but she still provides excellent advice and encouragement. Chris is running the website and trying to find great fabrics to sell for $5 a yard.
I(Chris) grew up in E. Lansing, Michigan and went to school at the University of Michigan. Working in the telecom industry for 12+ years burned me out of the corporate world. Quilting has been my salvation throughout the years and now I'm thrilled to make it my job.
